Sunniva Eliassen, mezzosopran (1987) er fra Finnsnes i Troms. Hun startet sine sangstudier ved Universitetet Tromsø (UIT), avd. Kunstfag hos prof. Anne-Lise Sollied. Hun tok det siste av studieårene tilknyttet UIT som utvekslingsstudent ved Musikhochschule Lübeck. Der startet hun også sitt masterstudium høsten 2012 hos prof. Christiane Hampe.
Hun har bl.a. hatt rollen som Oberon, alvekongen i Benjamin Brittens opera ”En midtsommernattsdrøm” og framført samtidsmusikk av komponisten Theo Brandmüller.
Sunniva har vært aktiv som solist i mange oratorie- og kantateframførelser i Nord-Tyskland de siste årene. Hun har bl.a. framført Actus Tragicus av Johann Sebastian Bach med historiske instrumenter og Camille Saint Saëns juleoratorium i Hamburger St Michel.
I sommer framførte hun samtlige solokantater for alt av Bach med Hamburger Barockorchester under ledelse av Matthias Janz. Før jul synger hun ”Engelen” i Juleoratoriet av Heinrich Schütz med Landesjugenchor Schleswig Holstein, alt-partiet i Händels Messias samt de tre siste kantatene av Bachs Juleoratorium.
Sunniva Eliassen, Mezzosopran (1987) comes from Finnsnes in Troms. She

Music in Lübeck, Germany where she in 2012 began her Master-studies with
Professor Christiane Hampe. She has sung the role of Oberon in a Midsummer
Nights Dream by Benjamin Britten and performed contemporary music of the
composer Theo Brandmüller.
Sunniva has been active as a soloist in several cantata and
oratorio performances in the northern part of Germany in recent years. She has
performed pieces such as Actus Tragicus of Johann Sebastian Bach, with
historical instruments and the Christmas Oratorio of Camille Saint Saëns in
